NDF has two project portfolios:
2009-onwards: Grants for climate change related interventions
1989-2005: Credits supporting social and economic development in low-income developing countries
As of 2009, all new NDF financing concerns grants for climate change related projects. These grant operations are mainly funded from repayments of credits provided by NDF in the period 1989-2005.
