NDF - Financing for climate change and development projects

EOI for Consultancy Services for the Water and Sanitation Millennium Project in Senegal

30.06.2011

Two Invitations for Expressions of Interest for Consulting Services for Two Components under the Water and Sanitation Millennium Project (PEPAM) in Senegal.

The Government of Senegal has received a grant from the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) to finance two components under the World Bank funded Water and Sanitation Millennium Project (PEPAM). The NDF grant will fund two components: i) the establishment of a methane gas powered generator at the wastewater treatment plant in Cambérène, and ii) the extension of a system supplying treated wastewater for irrigation.
NDF's contribution intends to strengthen the climate change aspects of the PEPAM project by increasing the use of renewable energy, decreasing the emission of greenhouse gases, and supporting a more efficient use of water resources for enhanced food security and livelihood.
The National Office for Sanitation of Senegal (ONAS) is now seeking Expressions of Interest for the provision of consultancy services for the NDF funded components. The EOI notice and relevant documents are available from the link below.

EOI notice

The deadline for both EOI is 28.07.2011.
